Wei Shou (Chinese:魏收;pinyin:Wèi Shōu) (506–572^[1]),courtesy nameBoqi (伯起), was aChinese author born in Quyang County in Julu Commandery (todayXingtai, Hebei) who served under theNorthern Qi dynasty.^[2] He wrote theBook of Wei, composed in 554, an important Chinese historical text.
