Valliquerville (French pronunciation:[valikɛʁvil]) is acommune in theSeine-Maritimedepartment in theNormandy region in northernFrance.
Afarming village situated in thePays de Caux, some 25 miles (40 km) northwest ofRouen at the junction of the D6015 with the D131e and the D110 roads.
In the lateeleventh century the village was in the possession ofBec Abbey.[3]
In May 1592,Henry IV and his forces were encamped in the village during theFrench Wars of Religion.[4][5]
In April 1940, duringWorld War IIPrincess Louise's Kensington Regiment wasbilleted in the village as part of theBritish Expeditionary Force.[6][7]
