Unalga Island (Aleut:Unalĝa[1][2]) is anisland in theDelarof Islands subgroup of theAndreanof Islands in theAleutian Islands chain ofAlaska. It is located in theBering Sea south ofGareloi Island, about 15 km (9 mi) west ofKavalga Island. The island, which has a diameter of just over 1 km (0.62 mi), should not be confused with the homonymousUnalga Island which is located between the islands ofAkutan andUnalaska, in theFox Islands.
