UGC 6665 (Arp 161) is aspiral[4]field galaxy[4] in the constellationVirgo. It is an estimated 265 million light-years[1] from the Milky Way, and is listed in Halton Arp'sAtlas of Peculiar Galaxies as number 161.[2]
UGC 6665 is ablue compact dwarf (BCD) galaxy. Like some other BCDs, it has an unusually high ratio ofnitrogen tooxygen.[5]
