Thom Southerland is an Englishtheatre director.[1] He studied atRose Bruford College. He is best known for his revivals of classic musicals in London, especially infringe theatre. Along with his 2013Southwark Playhouse production of theMaury Yeston musicalTitanic, some of his best-received productions include:

He was nominated for anEvening Standard Award forParade in 2012, and won anOff West End Theatre Award (Offie) award for Best Director forMe and Juliet in 2011.[8]
Southerland has received further Offies nominations for directingGrand Hotel (2015)[9],Ragtime (2016)[10], andDeath Takes a Holiday (2017).[11]
