I've moved the grebes next to the flamingoes in the orders list to reflect the fact that they are sister taxa and that the link between the grebes and divers is due to convergence. Hope that's OK with everyone?SP-KP (talk)18:33, 29 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Changing template to Dinosaur template

[edit]

User:4444hhhh made some edits[1] to this template making it primarily a dinosaur template. I'm not sure there was any discussion or consensus on this so I reverted it for the time being. I would think a separate template for dinos would be more appropriate. If the consensus is otherwise, feel free to restore. Rgrds. --Tombstone (talk)05:00, 5 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry if I rush things. Maybe the template shoud be turn into a dinosaur template. Because birds and dinosaurs have basically the same DNA, like, 100% as well as other traits. We should putOrnithischia andSaurischia in the orders section andPaleontology in the humans and dinosaur section. Dinosaur Size will probably need a new section, whick would mean we need to create a Bird Size article. Feathered dinosaurs will be in the evolution section. Dinosaur classification will be the evolution section. We may need to create a new article. Dinosaur Evolution, so that way we have one for birds and for dinosaurs. Any comments?--4444hhhh (talk)13:12, 5 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Columbea

[edit]

my recent edits onColumbea have been reverted. I don't understand the reason. Current form the classification inColumbea section of the template is inconsistent with what's written inColumbea article.68.100.166.209 (talk)17:22, 21 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Passerea

[edit]

In addition, the classification ofPasserea-section is also inconsistent with the articlePasserea. These sections in the template are wrong and needs corrections. Why did you put the incorrect template under protection?68.100.166.209 (talk)17:27, 21 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

"Gaviiformes" and "loons" pages

[edit]

Gaviiformes is a different page thanloons, so I'm not sure if "Gaviiformes" should piped to "loons", and instead should just go to its own page. Could anyone please tell me if I should change it or leave it how it is?--Thylacine24 (talk)20:24, 19 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
