Sewang is a traditionaldance performed by the aboriginalOrang Asli people ofMalaysia.[1] Originally the dance was performed for funeral, for thanksgiving, or to treat the sick or wounded,[2] and now it is also used to entertainforeign travelers.[3] It involves dancing in a circle to music produced frombamboo.[4]
