Selvi Ananda Putri (born 9 January 1989) is the currentSecond Lady of Indonesia as the wife of the 14thvice presidentGibran Rakabuming Raka.[2] She is also the daughter-in-law of the seventh Indonesian presidentJoko Widodo and the first ladyIriana.
Selvi Ananda was known to be active in various activities during her college years. One of the activities she did was as a presenter on the local television station TATV (Terang Abadi Television).[3] After completing her college, Selvi worked at Panin Bank, a private bank based in Indonesia.
Selvi Ananda officially became the Second Lady of Indonesia on 20 October 2024.[4] She is also the second youngest Second Lady of Indonesia after Siti Rahmiati Hatta, wife of the first Vice President Mohammad Hatta. She also automatically becomes General Chair of the National Crafts Council replacing Wury Estu Handayani. In January she was appointed the central management of the National Crafts Council at the Vice President's Palace. The Dekranas management consists of the spouse/companion of ministers inRed and White Cabinet.[5]
InPrabowo Subianto's presidency, she assumed most of the functions of theFirst Lady on social affairs, as the First Lady's seat is vacant due to separation of Prabowo Subianto and his wife,Titiek Suharto.[6]
With completion ofVice Presidential Palace in January 2026, Office of theVice President of Indonesia has begun relocation process to Nusantara shortly afterwards. She, her husband, and their 2 children will start to reside in Nusantara within 2026.[7]
She was married to Gibran on 11 June 2015.[8][9] Their first child, a son called Jan Ethes Srinarendra, was born on 10 March 2016.[10] She later gave birth to a daughter named La Lembah Manah at the Muhammadiyah Hospital in Surakarta on 15 November 2019.[11][12]
