Sefro (Sifru in the local dialect) is acomune (municipality) in theProvince of Macerata in theItalian regionMarche, located about 70 kilometres (43 mi) southwest ofAncona and about 45 kilometres (28 mi) southwest ofMacerata. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 453 and an area of 42.5 square kilometres (16.4 mi2).[3]
