Sabine Zimmermann (born 30 December 1960) is a German politician. Born inPasewalk,Bezirk Neubrandenburg, she is a member ofBündnis Sahra Wagenknecht. She served as a member of theBundestag from thestate ofSaxony between 2005 and 2021, forThe Left.[1]

Career

Zimmermann became a member of the Bundestag after the2005 German federal election.[2] She is a member of the Committee for Tourism, the Main Committee and the Committee for Family, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth.[3][4][5]

Zimmerman was the top candidate forBündnis Sahra Wagenknecht in the2024 Saxony state election.[6]
