Richard Francis McGonagle[1] (born October 22, 1946)[1] is an American actor. He is most known for his voice work in various video games, movies and television shows. He is also known for his work by voicing Colonel Taggart inPrototype, Orlovsky inWorld in Conflict: Soviet Assault,Mr. Incredible through variousThe Incredibles projects (in lieu ofCraig T. Richard Francis McGonagle was born inBoston, Massachusetts on October 22, 1946, the son of Hildagard Virginia (née Hiller) and William Francis McGonagle.[1]

Career

As a voice actor he has done many roles such as Four Arms and Exo-Skull onBen 10, several voices on the showSamurai Jack, as Bato, a secondary character fromAvatar: The Last Airbender, various people inZatch Bell!, Bill the Wrangler inSpirit: Stallion of the Cimarron, Dr.I.Q. Hi inDuck Dodgers,Apocalypse inX-Men Legends II: Rise of Apocalypse, the second voice ofGeneral Grievous inStar Wars: Clone Wars, Ed Machine inScooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated,Abin Sur inGreen Lantern: First Flight, and various teachers inRecess. He was one of the voice directors onBeyblade, and did various voices onRugrats andAll Grown Up! and adult voices onThe Buzz on Maggie. He also provided the voice of the Oracle inJak 3 and voiced Dr. Peace inNo More Heroes, and Eight-Armed Willy inThe Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack, also voiced Herb (Starla's Father) inRegular Show.

He also voiced in video games such asBaten Kaitos Origins,Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, theUncharted series (alsomotion capture),Just Cause,The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction,Dragon Age: Origins andCastle of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse. In film, he appeared inThe Bucket List forWarner Bros. Pictures. He narrated the acclaimedindie film(500) Days of Summer, starringJoseph Gordon-Levitt andZooey Deschanel. He has also narrated a number ofaudiobooks, including theNew York Times bestsellerThe Dark Side, byNew Yorker journalistJane Mayer.

In television, he has appeared in an episode ofStar Trek: The Next Generation and two episodes ofStar Trek: Voyager. He played the recurring character Judge Lathrop in the crime dramaClose to Home and provided the voice of Sanders on the sitcomCommunity in the second-season episode "Basic Rocket Science". He appeared in the TV seriesRules of Engagement as a doctor.
