Rhys Nicholson (born 22 April 1990)[ a] is an Australian comedian and actor known for being a judge onDrag Race Down Under from 2021 onwards, as well as the spin-offDrag Race Down Under vs. the World .
Nicholson in 2013 In 2011, Nicholson featured in theABC documentaryGayCrashers , alongsideJoel Creasey , in which the duo travel to the small town ofColac and perform a stand-up show. Creasey had been the subject of ahomophobic attack on an earlier visit to the town.[ 2]

In 2016, to highlight their view of the importance ofsame-sex marriage in Australia , Nicholson publicly marriedlesbian and fellowcomedian Zoe Coombs Marr at theMelbourne International Comedy Festival . That year Nicholson and Coombs Marr were also both nominated for theBarry Award for Best Show , which Coombs Marr won.[ 4]
In 2021, Nicholson served as a judge onRuPaul's Drag Race Down Under , alongsideRuPaul andMichelle Visage .[ 5] The same year they appeared on the panel showPatriot Brains .[ 6] In 2022, they played Doctor Sarkov inNetflix 's science-fiction seriesThe Imperfects .[ 7]
On 31 October 2023, Nicholson released a bookDish: Spiels, Scoops, Emotional Outbursts and the Occasional Recipe .[ 8]
Nicholson competed in the third season ofTaskmaster Australia , which began airing in September 2024.[ 9] In 2025 they appeared as a contestant onClaire Hooper 'sHouse Of Games .[ 10]
