Piotrków Governorate[a] was an administrative-territorial unit (guberniya) ofCongress Poland of theRussian Empire, established in 1867 by splitting some areas ofRadom andWarsaw Governorates. Its capital was in Petrokov (Piotrków Trybunalski).
It was created in 1867, split off from parts ofRadom andWarsaw Governorates. It consisted of the uzeyds ofBędzin,Częstochowa,Radomsko andŁódź.
