Philip Jones is an American politician. He serves as aDemocratic member for theCheshire 3rd district of theNew Hampshire House of Representatives.[2] Jones is a member of the State-Federal Relations and Veterans Affairs committee.[3]

Prior to assuming office in the House of Representatives, Jones was a city councilor from 2022-2025 in the city of Keene, New Hampshire. He was the vice-chair of the Planning, Licenses, and Development Committee.[4][5]

Jones has proposed a bill to end the state's ban onred light cameras, which would take photos of speeding vehicles' license plates and drivers. He proposes that these be operated entirely by cities and towns, rather than by a third party corporation.[6]

Personal life

Jones has a BA in Marketing from William Paterson University.[7]

Jones is married to his wife, June, and has 3 daughters. In 2024 he mentioned having moved to Keene "30 years ago."[5]
