Nicolas Daragon (born 12 March 1972), is a French politician of theRepublicans (LR) who became mayor ofValence in 2014 and vice-president of theRegional Council of Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes in 2016.[1]

From September to December 2024 he was minister for daily security in thegovernment of Prime Minister Michel Barnier.[2]

In the Republicans' 2025 leadership election Daragon endorsedLaurent Wauquiez to succeedÉric Ciotti as the party's new chair and joined his campaign team.[3]
