Nicolás Federico Castro (born 1 November 2000) is an Argentine professionalfootballer who plays as amidfielder forToluca inLiga MX.[1]
A youth product of9 de Julio, Castro joined the academy ofNewell's Old Boys in 2016.[2] On 3 January 2019, Castro signed his first professional contract with Newell's Old Boys.[3] Castro made his professional debut with Newell's Old Boys in a 1-0Argentine Primera División loss toArgentinos Juniors on 25 November 2019.[4]
On 18 July 2022, Castro signed a five-year contract withGenk.[5] On 7 August 2023, he was loaned to SpanishSegunda División sideElche on aseason-long deal.[6]
