Ignacio "Nacho" de Loyola Abeledo Rute (Spanish pronunciation:[iˈɣnaθjoˈnatʃoðeloˈʝolaaβeˈleðoˈrute]; born 5 January 1996) is a Spanish professionalfootballer who plays as aleft winger for theThai League 2 clubChanthaburi .
Born inHuelva,Andalusia, Abeledo joinedReal Betis' youth setup in 2011, aged 15. On 15 April 2013 he signed a professional contract with the club.[1]
On 28 November 2013, while still a junior, Abeledo appeared on the bench in a 0–1 away loss againstLyon, inthat season'sUEFA Europa League.[2] In January of the following year he made his senior debuts withthe reserves in theTercera División; shortly after he made his first-team debut, coming on as a latesubstitute in a 1–0 home win overAthletic Bilbao, inthat season'sCopa del Rey.[3]
On 6 June 2016 Abeledo signed a three-year deal with anotherreserve team,FC Barcelona B, also playing in the third tier.[4] On 2 September of the following year, he joinedMálaga CF and was assigned tothe B-team in the fourth division.[5]
On 4 August 2018, after scoring a career-best 19 goals, Abeledo signed a two-year contract withGimnàstic de Tarragona of theSegunda División, after terminating his contract with Málaga.[6] The following 8 January, after being rarely used, he was loaned toDeportivo Fabril until June.[7]
On 14 January 2013 Abeledo was called up for theSpain under-17's,[8] Nine days later he appeared as a second-half substitute of a 1–0 success overItaly.[9]
