NGC 4482 is adwarf elliptical galaxy located about 60 millionlight-years away[3] in theconstellationVirgo.[4] NGC 4482 was discovered by astronomerWilliam Herschel on March 15, 1784. It was rediscovered by astronomerArnold Schwassmann on September 6, 1900 and was listed asIC 3427.[5] It is a member of theVirgo Cluster.[6]
