NGC 191 is aspiral galaxy located in the constellationCetus. It was discovered on November 28, 1785, byWilliam Herschel.[2]

NGC 191 is currentlyinteracting withIC 1563. For that reason it was included inHalton Arp'sAtlas of Peculiar Galaxies, under the section "Elliptical galaxies close to and perturbing spiral galaxies."
