Melem-Kish ofKish was the sixteenthSumerian king in the First Dynasty of Kish, according to theSumerian King List (SKL). His father wasEn-me-nuna, whom he succeeded as ruler.[1] The kings on the early part of theSKL are usually not considered historical, except when they are mentioned inEarly Dynastic documents. Melem-Kish is not one of them.[2]
