Megan Cotter is an American politician representing the 39th district in theRhode Island House of Representatives. A member of theDemocratic Party, she was first elected in November 2022. Cotter also works forseafood distributor Foley Fish.[1]
Cotter grew up inElmhurst, Providence. After graduating fromClassical High School in 2002, she triple majored in English, Comparative Literature, and Classical Studies at theUniversity of Rhode Island.[1]
After losing by 4% to incumbent representativeJustin Price in 2020, Cotter prevailed in a 2022 rematch, winning by just 32 votes.[2]
