Rodríguez played for a number of clubs in Peru, includingUniversitario de Deportes andDeportivo Municipal.[1] He also had a spell withIonikos in theGreek Super League from January 1998 through July 2000.[2]
Rodríguez made 19 appearances for the seniorPeru national football team from 1991 to 1995,[3] including three matches at the1995 Copa América.[4]
