TheMars Hill Network is a network ofChristian radio stations inNorthern New York, also serving parts ofOntario andQuebec, Canada. The network features a mix ofChristian talk and teaching shows and blocks ofChristian music. It first began broadcasting on March 9, 1969.

Itsflagship station isWMHR (102.9FM) inSyracuse, New York. All stations arenon-commercial and are listener-supported, seeking donations on the air and on its website. The studios and offices are on Makyers Road in Syracuse.

Programming

The Mars Hill Network airs both local and national religious programs. Programs are hosted byJames Dobson,Jim Daly,John MacArthur,Erwin Lutzer,Adrian Rogers,J. Vernon McGee,Alistair Begg andCharles Stanley. Updates are provided bySRN News.

History

The first station, WMHR 102.9 FM in Syracuse, went on the air in 1969. In 1988, WMHN 89.3 FM inWebster, New York, began broadcasting as the network's second station. It serves theRochester metropolitan area.

In 1991, a station near theCanada–United States border joined the network. WMHI 94.7 FM inCape Vincent, New York, began servingJefferson County, nearKingston, Ontario. WMHQ 90.1 FM inMalone, New York, signed on in 2003, servingFranklin County near the border ofQuebec.[2]

WMHU 91.1 FM, inCold Brook, New York, signed on in 2011, servingHerkimer County.[3] Two stations joined the network in 2019: WMHY 88.5 FM, inRichfield Springs, New York, servingOtsego County.WMHH 96.7 FM, inClifton Park, New York, flipped from its previous format as anoldies station. It servesAlbany and theCapital District.

In addition to full-power stations, the network is heard on more than a dozen low-powerFM translator stations around New York State, including one onEastern Long Island.
