
Luca Giuliani (born 18 April 1950 inFlorence, Italy) is a professor at theHumboldt University specialising in Greek and Roman archaeology.[1][2]
Giuliani was curator at theBerliner Antikensammlung from 1982 to 1992. He was a lecturer at theFreie Universität Institute of Classical Archaeology between 1986 and 1991. In 1992, he became Professor of Greek and Roman Archaeology at the University of Freiburg, a position he held until 1998,before taking up the same role at theLudwig Maximilian University of Munich until 2007. Since April 2007, he has been the Rector of theWissenschaftskolleg zu Berlin (Institute for Advanced Study).[1]
