List of common words used to describe animal noises

Certain words in theEnglish language representanimal sounds: the noises andvocalizations of particular animals, especially noises used byanimals for communication. The words can be used asverbs orinterjections in addition tonouns, and many of them are also specificallyonomatopoeic.
