• Leonteus, also given in one source as father ofIxion.^[1]
• Leonteus, brother ofAndraemon, who marriedAmphinome, daughter ofPelias.^[2]
• Leonteus, defender ofThebes in the war of theSeven. He was slain byHippomedon.^[3]
• Leonteus, son ofCoronus (the son ofCaeneus) andCleobule, was one of the commanders of theLapiths during theTrojan War.^[4][5] Together with his associate,Polypoetes (son ofPirithous), he led the soldiers from theThessalian cities ofArgissa,Gyrtone,Orthe,Elone andOloosson.^[6] He was credited with killing five people during the war:^[7]Antiphates,^[8]Hippomachus,^[9]Iamenus,Menon andOrestes.^[10]
