John Lowell Russell Jr. (May 15, 1905 – July 22, 1967) was an American cinematographer who was known for his work on films likePsycho (for which he earned anAcademy Award nomination) as well as his extensive work on TV.[1][2]

He was credited on more than 80 films and TV shows over the course of his long career in the industry. He was the son of screenwriterLillian Case Russell and actorJohn Lowell Russell, and was married to screenwriterVy Russell.[3]
