João Infante (fl. 15th century) was aPortuguese explorer of theAfrican coast. He accompaniedBartolomeu Dias in his journey around theCape of Good Hope in 1487/1488 by leading a secondcaravel, theSão Pantaleão (named afterSaint Pantaleon).
