Jason Agius is an Australian actor best known for his role as George inWog Boys Forever and as Nikos Aristides inNewton's Law.

Career

In 2012, Agius made his television debut in Southern Star'sTangle, playing a "Fighter Mate" ofLincoln Younes's Romeo.[citation needed] He then appeared in a number of television pilots and short films, includingPenny, alongsideThe Saddle Club alumLara Jean Marshall.[citation needed]

Agius made hisfeature film debut inAACTA-nominatedThe Death and Life of Otto Bloom, alongsideXavier Samuel andRachel Ward, produced by Mish Armstrong, Alicia Brown, andOscar-winning producerMelanie Coombs.Otto Bloom was selected to open the 65thMelbourne International Film Festival in 2016. Agius was then cast inNewton's Law (2017) alongsideClaudia Karvan,Toby Schmitz, andSean Keenan.[1]

In May 2018, Agius appeared in theABC comedy documentaryCorey White's Roadmap to Paradise[2] in sketches related to the world's problems, as seen by comedianCorey White.

In 2022, Agius appeared as George in theWog Boy sequel,Wog Boys Forever, alongsideNick Giannopoulos, which went on to become the second-highest grossing Australian film of 2022 at the domestic box office. In the same year, it was announced that Agius had co-written feature filmLittle Europe withAFI-winning filmmaker Franco Di Chiera, who will also direct. It is based on true events surrounding theBonegilla Migrant Reception and Training Centre.[3]

In 2026, Agius appeared oppositeEleanor Matsuura,Brooke Satchwell and Ryan Johnson as Sam Harvey inDear Life for Gristmill/Stan.
