Grigoris Papazacharias (Greek: Γρηγόρης Παπαζαχαρίας; born 20 March 1985) is aGreek formerfootballer. He has representedGreece at all youth levels.
Papazacharias began his career inAnagennisi Epanomi. He joinedIraklis in 1999. He stayed inIraklis for 11 years, until 2010. He has over 118 performances with blue-white jersey and scored 6 league goals. In 2003-2004-2005 years, Iraklis was in very good form, finishing 4th behindOlympiacos,Panathinaikos andAEK Athens, with Papazaharias being in first eleven in center-back duo, withTasos Katsabis. He was appointed as the captain forIraklis in 2007. In 2010 Papazacharias transferred to local rivalsAris, but an injury left him out for about 4 months. During his first season at Aris, he played in only 3 matches.
On 30 June 2019,Thyella Kamari F.C. announced that they had signed Papazaharias.[1]
