Good Deed Entertainment (GDE) is an Americanindependent film studio founded in 2012 by Scott Donley.[1] Through its genre division Cranked Up Films, GDE develops, produces, and distributes horror, grounded sci-fi and speculative fiction films.[2]

The company is perhaps best known for releasing the Academy Award-nominated animated featureLoving Vincent, telling the story of painterVincent van Gogh in his signature style. Good Deed Entertainment has also recently released such titles asKarmalink,Carmen andSome Freaks, along with the Independent Spirit Award-nominatedTo Dust and the Annie Award-nominatedCharlotte.[3]

The company moved from its original home inLos Angeles, California, in 2019 toAshland, Ohio, which is also the hometown of the company's founder, Scott Donley.[1]
