Gerd Zimmermann (26 September 1949 – 6 April 2022[1]) was a Germanfootballer. He spent nine seasons in theBundesliga withBorussia Mönchengladbach,SC Fortuna Köln andFortuna Düsseldorf. He spent two years in theNorth American Soccer League playing for theHouston Hurricane and theCalgary Boomers before returning to Germany to close out his career.
