Geovanis Cassiani Gómez[a] (born 10 January 1970,[1] inTurbo,Antioquia),[2] known asGeovanis Cassiani, is a Colombia formerfootballer who played as acentre-back. He played for theColombia national team at the1992 Summer Olympics inBarcelona, Spain, wearing the #13 jersey. Cassiani also was a member of the1990 FIFA World Cup squad. In Argentina, he played 10 matches inRosario Central, in the 1998–99 season.
He is the younger brother ofFrancisco Cassiani.
