Gajirrawoong, also writtenGajirrabeng,Gadjerawang,Gadjerong,Gadyerong andKajirrawung, is anAustralian Aboriginal language of theKimberley region inWestern Australia. It is at leastendangered and possiblyextinct; as of 2004 it was known by only three or four fluent speakers,[3] and in the2016 Australian Census, there were no recorded speakers using it at home.[4] It is in theJarrakan language family,[2] and is the language of theGajirrawoong people.
The nearbyGurindji language is known to have borrowed from Gajirrawoong.[5]
