TheEvangelical Lutheran Church of Schaumburg-Lippe (German:Evangelisch-Lutherische Landeskirche Schaumburg-Lippe) is aLutheran member church (Landeskirche) of theProtestant Church in Germany. It covers the formerprincipality of Schaumburg-Lippe and seated inBückeburg.


The church has 43,111 members and is one of the smallest regional Protestant churches inGermany.[1] The church is one of the members of theUnited Evangelical Lutheran Church of Germany (VELKD) and of theConfederation of Protestant Churches in Lower Saxony. Theordination of women andblessing of same-sex marriages[2] has been allowed.
