Anatomical terminology

In anatomy, theendolymphatic sac is a structure in theinner ear. It is a canal that comes out of the posterior wall of thesaccule, then is joined by theutriculosaccular duct, and then passes along thevestibular aqueduct, before it ends up at theendolymphatic sac on the posterior surface of thepetrous portion of thetemporal bone, where it is in contact with thedura mater.

Disorders of the endolymphatic duct includeMeniere's Disease andenlarged vestibular aqueduct.
