Yaralla was anelectoral district of theLegislative Assembly in theAustralian state ofNew South Wales. It was created in 1968, named afterYaralla Estate and largely replacedConcord, extending west to the districts ofParramatta andGranville. It also extended to the north of theParramatta River, absorbing parts ofEastwood, Parramatta andRyde[1] It was abolished in 1981 with the area south of the river being absorbed byElectoral district of Burwood and the area north of the river by the re-created district of Ryde.[2][3][4] The first member wasLerryn Mutton (Liberal) who had previously unsuccessfully contested Concord.[5][6] The sitting memberGarry McIlwaine (Labor) successfully contested Ryde.[7][8]
