Eastern Division of Camden was anelectoral district for theLegislative Assembly in the then British colony ofNew South Wales from 1856 to 1857. Its name was changed toEast Camden in January 1858,[1] and it was largely replaced by thedistrict of Illawarra in June 1859.[2]
It elected two members simultaneously, with voters casting two votes and the first two candidates being elected. The electorate was situated in easternCamden County, which adjoins theCumberland County (Sydney Basin) to the south, including theSouthern Highlands and, to the east, theIllawarra region.[3][4][5][6][1][7]
