East Kilbride and Strathaven is aconstituency of theHouse of Commons in theUK Parliament.[2] Further to the completion of the2023 review of Westminster constituencies, it was first contested at the2024 general election, since when it has been represented byJoani Reid ofScottish Labour.

The constituency comprises the following wards ofSouth Lanarkshire:

The vast majority of the constituency comes from the abolishedEast Kilbride, Strathaven and Lesmahagow constituency - excludingLesmahagow and surrounding areas, which are now part of the newHamilton and Clyde Valley constituency. A small section of the Avondale and Stonehouse ward came from the abolishedLanark and Hamilton East constituency.[5]
