Douglas Edwards Evans (born May 13, 1970) is an American former professionalfootball player who was acornerback in theNational Football League (NFL). He playedcollege football for theLouisiana Tech Bulldogs and was selected by theGreen Bay Packers in the sixth round of the1993 NFL draft with the 141st overall pick.[1] He wonSuper Bowl XXXI with the 1996 Green Bay Packers against theNew England Patriots. Evans also played for theCarolina Panthers, theSeattle Seahawks, and theDetroit Lions. In 2001, he set a Panthers franchise record with 8 interceptions.
