Organic compound (C4H4N2); benzene with two CH groups replaced by N
Not to be confused withDiazene orDiazane.

Inorganic chemistry,diazines are a group oforganic compounds having themolecular formulaC4H4N2. Each contains abenzene ring in which two of the C-H fragments have been replaced byisolobal nitrogen.[1] There are threestructural isomers:
