Dan McLindon (born 3 March 1940) is a Scottish formerfootball player and manager. McLindon was signed byDunfermline, then managed byJock Stein, from junior clubBellshill in 1960.[1] McLindon was part of the Dunfermline team that won the1961 Scottish Cup Final.[2] He moved toSt Johnstone in 1964, in exchange forAlex Ferguson.[1][2] Later that year he was again exchanged, toPartick Thistle, forNeil Duffy.[1][2] Thistle were relegated in 1970, after which McLindon left the club.[2]
McLindon then became player/manager ofStranraer for a year.[1][2] McLindon then moved toEast Stirlingshire as a player.[1][2] McLindon then became a coach and manager, working forAlloa,Cowdenbeath, East Stirlingshire,Airdrie,Motherwell and Partick Thistle.[2]
