Cornelius of Antioch (alsoromanised asKorneilos) was the bishop of Antioch between 127 and 151 AD[1] or 154 AD,[2] successor ofHerodion of Antioch as bishop according toEusebius of Caesarea.[3] He was the first Christian leader with an aristocratic Roman name. Little is known about his deeds and life.[citation needed]
