Comarch is a Polishmultinational software house andsystems integrator based inKraków,Poland. The company provides services in areas such astelecommunications,finance andbanking, services sector and to public administration. Its services include billing,enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), globalelectronic invoicing compliance,IT security,IT architecture, management and outsourcing solutions,customer relationship management (CRM) and sales support,electronic communication,business intelligence, and cloud solutions for various businesses.

Comarch specializes in data exchange and document management, supporting B2B and B2G compliance in over 60 countries, and serves industries including telecommunications, finance, retail, and the service sector.

History

The company was founded in 1993 byJanusz Filipiak [pl], a computer scientist and lecturer at theAGH University of Science and Technology inKraków. The name of the company is aportmanteau word of "computer architecture".[2] The Group employs more than 6,500 employees in 34 countries around the world with a yearly revenue stream of over US$300 million. In 2014, the company opened offices inChile andSpain. In 2015, a company was established inMalaysia,Sweden andItaly, in 2016 companies fromArgentina,Colombia andPeru joined, and in 2017 branches inSaudi Arabia started operating.[3]

The Comarch Corporate Group[4] comprises international branches (such as Comarch AG, Comarch S.A.S., Comarch, Inc. and others) and Kraków football clubKS Cracovia SSA. SoInteractive, an engagement and gamification provider, is an associated company.[5] On April 27, 2012, Comarch purchased 100% shares of Esaprojekt. On July 21, 2015, Comarch acquired 42.5% of the shares of the American company Thanks Again LLC specializing in loyalty programs and CRM systems.[6] In 2016, Comarch exported its own products and services worth PLN 661.1 million, which accounts for almost 60% of total revenues. In November 2017, Comarch won tender for maintenance of the KSI system for ZUS.[7] On April 4, 2017, Comarch acquired 100% of shares in the Polish company Geopolis.[8]

Since 2024, Comarch has been part of the portfolio of CVC Capital Partners, a global private equity firm.

On December 8, 2024, during an Extraordinary General Meeting, shareholders voted in favor of a resolution to delist Comarch S.A. shares from the stock exchange.[9] As of March 26, 2025, Comarch S.A. ceased to be a public company, in accordance with the decision of the Polish Financial Supervision Authority (KNF) issued on March 7, 2025.[10]

Comarch provides a cloud-native SaaS (Software as a Service)Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and e-invoicing platform designed to ensure compliance with global tax and legal regulations. The platform supports B2G, B2B, and B2C document exchange.

As a certifiedPeppol Access Point, Comarch enables document exchange with European government entities and international networks. The company’s solution integrates with various national e-invoicing platforms, such as KSeF (Poland), Chorus Pro (France), and SDI (Italy).

Loyalty Management Platform

The Comarch Loyalty Marketing platform is a proprietary loyalty management ecosystem. Made for scalable, global enterprise programs, the system utilizes embedded artificial intelligence and machine learning to facilitate predictive analytics,personalized customer journeys,gamification,omnichannel marketing automation, and real-time fraud detection.

The company was recognized as a "Strong Performer" inTheForrester Wave: Loyalty Platforms, Q4 2025.[11]

Sponsorships

Comarch is sponsoring both thefootball andhockey team of KS Cracovia since 2002.[12][13] In 2019, Comarch became the main sponsor for theLOSC football club fromLille, France, playing in theLigue 1.[14][15] Comarch has extended its partnership with the Belgian football clubRoyale Union Saint-Gilloise for another season - 2024/2025.[12] In the past the company also sponsored the German football clubTSV 1860 Munich.[16]
