Clíodhna Lyons is an Irish cartoonist, animator[1] and printmaker. She has created several comics andzines and is a director working for Lighthouse Studios.
Lyons was born in theAran Islands, Galway, and studied animation atBallyfermot College in Dublin before going to complete a BFA in comics at theSchool of Visual Arts in New York City.[2] Lyons has worked with a number of other artists such asMaeve Clancy.[3] Lyons is now based inKilkenny and travels to Dublin regularly for comics-related events such as24 Hour Comics Day which she helps run.[4][5][6][7][8]
