Central Salt and Marine Chemicals Research Institute (formerlyCentral Salt Research Institute) is a constituent laboratory of theCouncil of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR),India.[1] The institute was inaugurated byJawahar Lal Nehru on 10 April 1954 atBhavnagar, inGujarat.[2]
