California's 13th senatorial district is one of 40CaliforniaState Senate districts. It is currently represented byDemocratJosh Becker ofMenlo Park.
The district encompasses the southernBay Area, taking in most ofSan Mateo County such as the communities ofSouth San Francisco,Pacifica,San Bruno,Millbrae,Burlingame,San Mateo,Foster City,El Granada,Hallf Moon Bay,San Carlos,Redwood City,Woodside, andMenlo Park; along with the westernSanta Clara County communities ofPalo Alto,Stanford,Mountain View,Cupertino,Campbell,Saratoga, andLos Gatos.
