Bharani (Devanagari: भरणी), meaning "the bearer", is the secondnakshatra (lunar mansion) in Hindu astronomy, corresponding to the three stars35,39, and41 Arietis. The brightest of these stars, 41 Arietis, has the modern nameBharani after the nakshatra.[1]
The same group of stars formed the historical European constellation calledMusca Borealis or Lilium.[1]
