TheBaptist Convention of Panama (Spanish:Convención Bautista de Panamá) is aBaptistChristian denomination inPanama. It is affiliated with theBaptist World Alliance. The headquarters is inBurunga.
The Baptist Convention of Panama has its origins in an American mission of theInternational Mission Board in 1905.[1] It is officially founded in 1959.[2] According to a census published by the association in 2023, it claimed 117 churches and 4,800 members.[3]
In 1955, it founded the Panama Baptist Theological Seminary.[4]
