Makhan Bada, also known asMakhan Vada, balusaahi, balushahi or badusha is a traditionaldessert originating from theIndian subcontinent.[2] It is also known as Balushahi or Balusaahi and is similar to a glazeddoughnut in terms of Ingredients, but differs in texture and taste.Makhan Bada also resembles RajasthaniBaati in terms of size and preparation but its shape is more similar toMedu Vada. InSouth India, a similarpastry is known asBadusha.
Makhan Badas are made ofmaida flour and are deep-fried inghee and then dipped insugar syrup.[3][4]
Balushahi. This Indian sweet is flaky yet soft and tastes best when fresh. It is also known as Makhan Bada in Hindi.
